This card that I made is presently listed for sale on Etsy.com under seller name DiDisCreations (please see my link under MY PLACES). The card is blank inside so it can be filled out for any occasion or personalized by request.

For this card I used Pink Cardstock for the matte of the card as well as the lined coordinating envelope and black cardstock for the base. All the Harley Davidson embellishments are from the EK Success Harley Davidson Collection and I used Colorbox catseye black ink for the inked edges.

Altered 2009 Calendar

This is a 2009 Calendar that I altered and is presently for sale on eBay under seller name going-gong-gone2u. The auction ends on Sunday 10-12-08 some time around 8pm CST. I love altering calendars I did a lot of them for 2008 and found that it is a passion. I presently have many calendars large and pocket sized, as well as composition books, small 3 subject notebooks and telephone books still to alter. When I seem them at a great price they are SO worth picking up even if I don't get to them right away.

This calendar was altered using The Paper Studio paper, Petaloo & The Paper Studio Flowers, The Paper Studio Brads, All My Memories Eyelets, FX red & black ribbon. For the lettering I used my Cricut Expression with the Opposites Attract cartridge for the 2009 and Accent Essentials for the flourish. The paper is adhered using Mod Podge. To insert the eyelets I used my Crop-a-Dile.

Altered Address Book

My sister received this address book about ten years ago from someone and never used it due to the fact it was a hideous hot pink color. BUT she did at least save it and after seeing some of the work that I've done altering calendars (I'll post some soon) and other telephone books she asked me to alter this one for her. Now she gave me the book in March and having a million things on my plate lately I just got around to doing it last weekend. So here are the Before, During and after pictures.

I used Miss Elizabeth's scrapbook paper & ivy stickers, Creation Station Ribbon and my George Cartridge on my Cricut Expression for the letters. For adhesive I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the book and my hot glue gun to adhere the ribbon.

She was very happy with the result.

Adding in past altered projects

I will be adding in past altered items/projects to be seen by those interested coming here from Etsy.com so please keep checking back as I have to scour through my hard drive to find the pictures. Aside from being a scrapbooker I am big into photography and between this computer (my desktop) and my laptop I have some 12000 pictures... for this reason the two computers are linked together thank goodness. So please keep checking back and as I find them I will be posting them.

I'm back.... AGAIN!!!

So here's the scoop!! I started a new job and have been working 6am to 2pm (sometimes 3) I get up a 4:30am so by the time my daughter's bedtime rolls around I'm exhausted. What happens at that point you want to know. I lay down with her to go to bed and the next thing I know...it's 4:30am. I have to say thank goodness for my DVR recording all my favorite shows. LOL!!

I have recently started selling some of my work... more specifically altered items on Etsy.com and eBay.com and wanted to make this my viewing place for some of my work. along with my scrapbook.com gallery. With everyone telling me that I'm creative and talented I wanted to share my work with others. So for you out there reading this... Thank you for stopping by my blog and thank you for your interest in my items that are for sale on one of the two websites. Please do look at my gallery and if there is an altered item that you see and are interested in and want personalized please do not hesitate to sent me an email through Etsy.com

Thank you again for stopping by and please be sure to add me to your favorites as I will try to keep posting new and exciting things going on!!!

I'm back

I've been MIA for awhile....spending time with my beautiful daughter and the love of my life.

I'm working on a new project right now that puts my scrapbooking to a new level. I've created a series of telephone books for a swap and I will upload those soon. BUT I'm making several custom made clocks as well. They are a bit of a challenge but quite fun to do. So while I'm waiting to get phone calls back for an interview on my job hunt I am keeping myself busy.
